About KISSAMI
I’m originally from Seoul, South Korea.
Before becoming a tattoo artist, I studied spatial design and worked as a spatial designer for approximately five years in Seoul.
While designing spaces, my focus was always on how people experience them. I paid close attention to flow, negative space, balance, and atmosphere, and to how these elements shape emotion and perception. This way of thinking continues to influence my work today.
I see skin as a space as well. I consider whether a design feels excessive, whether it will remain natural over time, and how it settles into the body’s movement and form.
I’ve been working as a tattoo artist since 2019. Rather than following trends, I focus on creating refined, balanced designs that reflect each individual’s mood and story.
Because a tattoo remains on the body for a long time, I value thoughtful consultation and work exclusively one on one. Every piece is approached with care, intention, and responsibility.
